At the Olde Towne School for Dogs, we have developed a method that is owner friendly and offers excellent and lasting results in helping dogs become welcome members of their families. Dogs and people do best when presented with consistency and structure in a fair and kind fashion. We have found the most effective method for training a dog is to find a motivational source for the dog and to teach exercises using repetitive steps and praise. There is no equal for hard work and consistency when teaching your dog. Our method is compatible with those of our many friends and colleagues, such as the late Capt. Arthur Haggerty, Matthew Margolis, and Brian Kilcommons.
